      Hi all,

Not sure if anyone has 2023 Sec1 booklist to share. Wanna find out what’s been taught at Sec1 level. TIA.

My children were from CCHM. I didn’t follow too closely their HCL curriculum. But 高华 would definitely be more difficult than 普华. You may attend their open house and ask the school your question. During my children time’s open house someone asked such questions before. The reply was the school is confident in teaching 高华well.

my opinion is, if your child willing to put in effort, CCHM is a good environment to learn Chinese. There are also Chinese exam advantages in SAP school like CCHM. In CCHM , Sec 1 to 3, students will take 高华 lessons. Because of their exposures to 高华level, they are deem good enough to sit for 普华 O level in Sec 3. If they can obtain a 普华O level result of, I think B3 or better, they can proceed to take 高华 O level in Sec 4. If not they can sit for 普华 O level a 2nd time (another chance) in Sec 4. Those students taking 高华 O level in Sec 4, a pass is enough to qualify for 2 point deduction for any JC application.

Around 8min, from MRT Staton , cross the canal, walk along it, turn left into to private estate, to school’s back gate

I asked the same question too during my children times there. In the morning many students walk together along it to school. It’s a well maintained jogging/cycling track along the canal with proper street lights. Just like any park connector after night fall , we don’t expect many people using it especially its near private estate. But my son says students walk in group after cca ended in the evening to the mrt station. But a short distance at opposite side of the canal has few blocks of condo and is bright

Posting your questions here is better than on a 2024 thread. A 2024 thread will be all new students’ parents all new to the school. Posting your questions here all current and ex students’ parents have more experiences to provide helpful answers.
