Yes, I did. Email from the admin office. Maybe because I called to ask if they received?
Thanks. I didn’t receive any but I see that the Parents gateway for my child’s profile has been updated. I guess it’s all good to go then.

Yes, my girl got 8, gave IP as first choice. Still balloted out. Also submitted an appeal. Let’s see.

Hi everyone. My daughter will be going to Cedar Girls Sec 1, in 2024. We live in Punggol and she plans to take MRT to school from here. Do you know which MRT is closest to Cedar Girls, Potong Pasir or Woodleigh? Thanks, Tony.
Hi there, I stay in Pg too. I have studied the route and drove there to understand that area. There are generally 3 way.

              1) take mrt until woodleigh. Take bus 100, 135 or 155 , I think 2 bus stop away and will walk in pass by cedar primary that road. Sheltered all the way, walk for 5-6mins to the main entrance

              2) take mrt to woodleigh, take bus 107 or 107M. Just 1 bus stop only, and walk will cut thru hbd block. Toward Blk110B, this will lead to the back door of cedar. This walk should be similar or slightly shorter than the former way.

              3) mrt to potong pasir, this will be the longest walk in to the main entrance. Not really recommended.

You can check out the map to understand what I meant and get a sense of direction. Use Onemap apps which is more updated than Google map.

Collected uniform and books this morning. Car decal application is not ready. FYI, Woodleigh is the recommended MRT (most students will choose this).

                  Answer -

Potong Pasir mrt station is too far from Cedar Girls' Secondary school, out of the way.

                  So,

Drop at Woodleigh mrt station, take bus (100, 135, 155) and after alight at the correct bus stop, cross the road and walk in, under shelter all the way to Cedar Girls' Sec school.

                  ========================

As for the last method (short cut),
from Woodleigh mrt station (on purple colored North East line), take bus 107.

One bus stop later, press the bell \"ding dong\", inside bus 107.

drop in front of Bidadari hdb block number 107. Take a lift to level 5.

When lift door open on level 5 (Bidadari Block 107), turn right and walk into a garden.

Cut through this nice, lovely garden and walk into another inter-connecting HDB block number 110B, nearby. Take lift to ground floor. When lift door open on ground floor, turn right.
Walk towards the side entrance gate very nearby, to enter into Cedar Girls' Secondary school compound (premises).

                  Every morning,
you will see only enrolled students & school staff of Cedar Girls' Secondary school, can enter. Outsiders / Trespassers who attempt to enter Cedar Girls' Secondary school premises illegally, are bar from entering, via this side gate entrance.

For parents (mothers) who are formerly ex graduates of Cedar Girls’ Secondary school,

                    if u stay in Bidadari,
and if you happen to have daughters also studying inside Cedar Girls’ Secondary school,

you will feel very close, to your Alma mater.

Cedar Girls are having some fun games for probably Sec 1 orientation, inside the Sports field right now. Can hear a lot of girls screaming in excitement, enjoying themselves. Nearby residents can also hear, clearly. Hahaha 🙂

After a while, suddenly raining ! Heavy rain clouds moved across the sky, and … just poured.
Can hear the girls so cute, singing the song " Rain, rain, go away. Come again, another day … "

Then, the girls moved away from the Sports field, entered the school hall for shelter, continued their fun
