You have all these contacts? Then should have asked them for NYJC's A Levels results for the past few years...

Can you ask your contacts? I am sure members here would appreciate such insider information immensely since it's so difficult to obtain it.
      Hi qms,

Your son or daughter studied before in NYJC. You have contacts too, right ?

Err.. I wished my son or daughter had studied in NYJC. Then I would be able to provide information on their past years' A Levels results rather than see the posts made to and fro here.

Furthermore, I would have shared the school's statistics if I had them.

So, will you be able to provide such information next Friday? :please:

I read the reddit post. How can nyjc have stellar resuts when its median is only an estimated figure? All the other JC posted actual median RI HCI EJC VJC which was really stellar

To be precise, the NYJC results reported in Reddit were based on information provided by students. They may be true, but just not verified by official sources.

The results are plausible, as the cohort had a higher proportion of science students as compared with other JCs with a more normal science to art stream ratio.

I think a more meaningful comparison can only be made beginning from 2026 when results reflect a normalized cohort. The removal of PW from RP calculations also eliminates variations in strictness of internal grading in schools.

Btw, median 86 is not an estimate. I was in the hall, it was flashed on screen by Mr Pang. 1 in 2 students scored at least 86RP and 1 in 2 has at least 3 H2 distinctions. He announced that results for the CT22xx batch are better than prior years.
