Hi, can I know if the domestic helper is allowed to go Malaysia/JB with her friends during her off day? Is there any regulation on this that I can find in MOM websites. Thanks.

They can but i suggest not to. If anything were to happen you will have a big headache.

FDW Insurance does not cover out of SG treatment, so if anything happens the Donestic helper will be left in a dire situation. Warn them of consequences.

She can, but as the others pointed out, if she gets into accidents it will be on you to cover since the insurance doesn’t cover worldwide. We used to let our helper go but now in hindsight it’s a bad idea. We have since been more strict with our new direct transfer helper which we found online.
