Technically possible to receive 3 Confirmed Offers, but the system only permits you to accept 1.

whether your child receives 3 DSA COs or 3 Wait-lists (WL), at the end of the day, your P6 son / daughter can only study in one Secondary school.

Therefore, apply for DSA only if your child is very interested in that particular school. Otherwise, if end up being offered \"half hearted\" COs / WLs, later on, you will face a dilemma of which school to give up, since u are only half hearted, right from the beginning.

Don't forget.
Attending DSA trials / audition tests / Academic subject tests ... is time consuming. This will eat into your precious PSLE preparation time.
Therfore, if u are half hearted, not really keen in that Secondary school, advise is : do not even waste time, applying.

However, if u are truly zealous for a particular school, then go ahead & apply.

Example

In previous DSA batches, there are students who applied for that only one particular school, they truly desired. Because they know that if they cannot enter by DSA, they are confident that they will still be able to enter, by their PSLE AL score, in November 2024. Other than this particular school, they not interested in any other Secondary schools. So, end up, they submitted Total 2 choices, under the same Secondary school name, during DSA. But under 2 different, separate domain. Eg.

1) X name (Sports / Performance Arts / Academic subject) domain

2) the same X name Secondary school (Leadership domain, another domain)

Better to reconfirm before posting such claims. DSA is centralised so they could not have given out any offer yet. What likely happened is they are trying to invite the kid to apply, assuring they will be favourably considered? This is presuming the academics are acceptable

It's not an offer letter, could be some form of invitation letter to the kids to consider applying to NJC.

But formal selection like trials and interviews will still take place.

Sorry but I highly doubt this. The furthest a school would go is to invite the student to trial at this point. Offering CO before the DSA application starts is unheard of

Y can apply to 3 schools and it's possible to receive 3 COs but you can ultimately choose only 1 school.

As of today, I know at least two p6 kids with a confirmed place each - when the dsa application for the rest of us starts next Tuesday.

They would still have to apply through the official portal, even if their application will be immediately processed into a CO.
