Thanks! Sounds doable...

Must try their pork chop buns. Very nice.
I didn’t try from the famous one. I just bought from a shop from Senado Square cos I was too lazy to find the famous one which I think need to take transport.
Imagine the normal shop one is alreadly very nice, i cannot imagine how the famous one taste. Must be very very very nice.
After tasting it. I tried the pork chop bun in Malaysia and Singapore. All not nice, totally different taste as Macau’s. Really miss the taste. -
I think both offer different stuff. Shopping wise, I think BKK is a better choice. Except for local products, I don’t find myself shopping in Macau.
But if you are keen on doing something different, don’t mind casino hopping and light gambling, macau is a better choice. dh will play card games while I like the jackpot with those special features. We are not the hardcore gambler. Just for the fun of it. We also don’t expect to "win" but rather if we lose, it’s more of entertainment fees.
The first time we went, we sign up for 1/2 day tour at the terminal. So there is a guide who took us to the various sights in Macau.
I personally prefer the egg tarts but the pork chop bun for us is too overwhelming. -
Thanks everyone!

Anybody tried taking the free shuttle casino buses at the ferry terminal upon arrival from HK?
Any restriction on say teenagers or children on boarding the buses as all know they can’t enter the casinos?
Thank you. -
Think no restriction. I brought my kids and hopped on different shuttle buses.

The free shuttle buses at Lisboa or Grand Lisboa do not pick up passengers below age 21. So we took a cab to Senado square. The square has a pedestrain walkway to Ruins of St Paul cathedral.
We ate at the famous Wong Chi Kei wanton noodles. The noodles are v fine/thin. Other than this, i dont find it v special. Same for the egg tarts, noting i hv low standards on food -
Macau is famous for their Portugese tarts. They taste very nice.

Am sad as i cant tell the difference btn macau and hk, except MOP 9 & HKD 5. -
Got difference lah. Macau egg tarts are baked until a bit burnt on the top and the pastry is fluffy kind & oiler too. HK ones are never burnt and pastry is like pineapple tart kind of texture. I prefer the Macau ones.
