If your child is taking the PSLE in 2026 or later, please take note: The Paper 1 weighting has been officially reduced to 50 Marks. The old ā€œ15/40ā€ grading curve used by many assessment books is now obsolete.

Two ā€œSilent Killersā€ in the new format: 1ļøāƒ£ The ā€œTone Trapā€ (Situational Writing): Even if your child gets all 6 content points right, they can still fail this section. Why? If they use the wrong Tone (e.g., writing ā€œHi Mr Tanā€ in a formal email), they lose major Language marks. 2ļøāƒ£ The ā€œInference Trapā€: Students can no longer just ā€œliftā€ answers from the text. They must provide an ā€œOwn Ideaā€.

Don’t rely on guesswork. I have built PSLE Marker Pro, an AI tool calibrated strictly to the new 2026 Syllabus (Code 0001).

āœ… Strict Scoring: We mark on the official 14/36 split.
āœ… Tone & Inference Detector: We spot if your child missed the ā€œOwn Ideaā€ or used the wrong register.
      āœ… ā€œFrom X to Yā€ Feedback: We give specific vocab swaps (e.g., ā€œChange ā€˜sad’ to ā€˜despondentā€™ā€).

SEEKING 10 BETA TESTERS: I am offering a FREE Diagnostic Report (worth $15) to the first 10 parents who want to stress-test their child’s essay against the new rubric.

šŸ‘‰ 10 Beta Spots Left. šŸ‘‡ email me at ml1978acc@gmail.com for a free strict diagnostic!

🚨 Prepping for the 2026 PSLE English changes?

Paper 1 is now graded out of 50 marks with stricter ā€œInferenceā€ rules. To help navigate this, I’ve developed PSLE Marker Pro—an AI tool that gives syllabus-aligned feedback and specific ā€œFrom X to Yā€ vocab upgrades for your child’s essays.

šŸŽ Get 1 FREE Diagnostic Report (Worth $15)
I’m doing a private trial for a small group of parents. Here is how to claim your free credit:

        1ļøāƒ£ Open the bot: https://t.me/PSLE_Marker_Pro_Bot
2ļøāƒ£ Tap ā€œStartā€ and click consent.
3ļøāƒ£ Copy the Parent ID the bot gives you.
4ļøāƒ£ Email your ID to ml1978acc@gmail.com.

Once I receive your ID, I’ll manually add your free credit so you can test it out immediately! šŸš€

        Best regards,
        PSLE Marker Pro Team

          Hi fellow parents,
I wanted to highlight a ā€œsilent killerā€ in the new SEAB 2026 English Syllabus (Subject Code 0001) that many of us might be missing.

We know the paper weighting has dropped from 55 to 50 marks , but the real danger isn’t the lost 5 marks—it’s the ā€œTone Trapā€ in Situational Writing.

Under the new 14-mark format, students can get all 6 content points correct but still score an AL 4 equivalent. Why? Because if they use the wrong Purpose, Audience, or Context (PAC)—like writing ā€œHi Mr. Tanā€ instead of ā€œDear Mr. Tanā€ā€”they get heavily penalized for Tone.

I’ve put together a short audio guide that breaks down exactly how to spot this ā€œTone Trapā€ and the new ā€œInferenceā€ requirement. It’s a quick listen for the commute:

šŸŽ§ Listen to the Guide Here: https://open.spotify.com/episode/41fVTq7LEPfBD7K43vIeJ6

For those who want to test their child’s actual essay:
I have also built an AI tool that acts as a strict ā€œSenior HODā€ to mark essays based on this new 2026 rubric. It checks for the ā€œInference Pointā€ and Tone issues automatically.

You can try a Free Diagnostic (no credit card needed) via Telegram here: https://t.me/PSLE_Marker_Pro_Bot

          Hope this saves some marks!
