That there are other kiasu parents out there besides yourself?
Anyway, welcome. We will train you well in our kiasu ways.
My wife signed up my P3 son in Yuquan (middle road) a couple of weeks back for the intensive 字经 and 成语 courses. It seems pretty effective. My son seemed to like it and is spouting the phrases like a pro now. I catch no ball at all about what he is saying... so I'm impressed
. Wonder if he understood what he is chanting
. Thinking of continuing on their once a week programme.

Just found out I need to intro myself first
My son attended the yuquan in middle road too. His lesson ended in april cos not enough students of his age. He used to learn san zi jin and one chinese poem a week. The fee is reasonable but I dislike having to pay for 18 lessons at one go, what if the child stop halfway? -
I think Yuquan has got an excellent set of teachers and syllabus… but have you interacted with the principal? My wife is grumbling about how "money-minded" and inflexible the management is with regards to make up lessons and course materials.

I din really speak to the principal but when I signed up, they wanted me to buy the materials abt $180 if I’m not wrong. And we did not use the materials during the lesson, actually a waste of $.

Has anyone sent DS/DD to Yuquan childcare? How is the place/ teachers/ activities?
No outdoor playground rite?
Please help as I am sourcing out childcare for my DS..stress :?: -
