All About Primary Schools' Balloting History

*If school knows parents are staying > than 2km when vacancies are limited, then school should inform these parents to look at others which have more vacancies, because these parents will not even have a chance to ballot at all.
I wonder...
assuming no chance to ballot for Phase 2C >2KM...
assuming the parents dunno they have no chance to ballot (Got such parents?)
does these popular school REJECT these applicants?
Or the sch just accepts...
and subsequently inform the parent to apply for other schs in Phase2C Sup? -
Daddy
Yes got!! I can vomit blood explaining to that colleague of mine.. seems like I more worried for him then himself.. he say he doesn't want all those leftover in 2Csupp but wanna try balloting. Worse case go find MP woh... :faint:

I only found out yesterday that not all schools will tell you that you have to try elsewhere.. the onus is on the parents to check.. -
RRMummy,
MOST parents NOW will look at vacancies available at 2C before deciding (assuming lah), or else reach heart-breaking moment when schools turn them away even before registering.
If don’t want to go to 2C supp, then there are still schools available at 2C for registration. Alamak, MP also cannot help if that parent die die wants to register at XX school if staying > than 2km. Then MP will tell him, ‘all schools are the same’. -
RRMummy:
Serious ah?? Got such noob parents...

Then the sch also very EVIL if never warn such parents... -
At 2C, schools should tell parents their chances. Very evil not to do so…esp since some parents are 1st timers at registration.
But if there are stubborn parents, I wish them all the best if still insist lah. They think MPs are angels. -

janet_lee88, he can't even be bothered to find out. Can't even be bothered to find out WHEN to register and which Phase. That also I have to tell him. He say he's not free, just go any day can.. :stupid: :stupid: :stupid:
Die die wanna go try balloting (heavily oversubscribed) and if not successfully balloted in still die, die wanna aim a school which confirm aft Phase 2C ZERO places when come Phase 2Csupp
If MP help 1.. I think all hell will break loose.. -
RRMummy,
Is he plain stubborn or ignorant, thinking that MP will solve his problems ??? Can't be bothered about child's education at all :!:
If school is heavily oversubscribed and if staying more than 2km, how can any MP help him ? Give up :stupid:
It's amazing there are parents who behave like this. -
Ignorant plus stubborn.. so I've decided not to get a PHD (permanent head damage from all the :stupid: :stupid: :stupid: ) because of this guy.
What makes me so :x is becoz I really pity his kiddo.. parents simply bo chap no preparation no nothing but wanna 'throw' him into 'HOT' school.. I sure hope his kiddo will not suffer...
oppss... me bad.. me criticizing ppl here.. :slapshead: -
sigh...Singaporeans depend and demand too much on external parties. MPs, Police, and other authorities, regulators only do this much for us.
It is sad when we also need MPs' assistance for our children to go to a preferred primary school...when you know that they will surely reject your request...
Know our limits

I believe only a small minority of Singaporean are like this. Some of us don’t even know who is our MP.
