Oh dear! I tot most schools will be giving out COs by next week. Anyone receive news from ACS(I)? Last year's notification was out by sometime now.

we are still waitingfor ACS , Dunman and NUS Camp result - Anyone with offer / call / email fm school - please kindly let us know :shock:

My DD got a call from NUS High for interview for thursday but not sure what to expect ... looking for input...anyone???

Did ur DD went for the camp? was she able to do all the questions for the camp? My DS could not complete Chemistry last 2 gns in time. ....
Maybe u can try this link and post question to the Blog that is used by NUSH existing students - its like a blog and the student may be able to help u --- good luck and all the best while we are still waiting for reply

Hi Vanilla,

Dont give up hope yet on NJC, it seems nobody else has received any email, perhaps DS classmate was not telling the truth ? I have yet to get any email as well, and it seems none of the others waiting from the forum.

But I read AppleCrumble's post , NJC will definitely let us all know by tomorrow. Normally one week notice anyway for the Selection, that is next Sat 21/8/2010. Good luck to all.

'Our selection for Phase 2A is still in progress.

All short-listed applicants from the selection Phase 1 will be notified via applicant's email by end of this week.'

Had heard that even if u got offer from the school u still got to meet their cop otherwise u will not get into that schoo./// for example if the cop is 260, then even if u got confirm letter from the school, u must also score at least 260 :!: is that true :shock:

that's not what I know - so long u meet the qualifying mark for express, u are in , else what is the point for DSA

But is the qualifying points for different schools differ?.. But that is wat I heard fr a parent who attended nygh tea session … So can parents who attended the tea session clarify … Thks .

Thank you mamatay. I hope i get some good responses from the blog - my DD said she could complete all the questions during the camp - I hope this interview is a chit chat session rather than one on one!!! I am sure you will hear positively from the school soon.

definitely NOT true. Clarified that with principals concerned. The baseline is 200 for express, not 260 or whatever, else no point doing DSA exercise

they have confidence in the selection judgement. the successful DSA applicants are UNlikely to be far below (if ever) from the COP of the schools

me also waiting for NJC! so agonising! after the unsuccessful nush attempt, i don’t have high hopes but on the other hand, still hope ds can get thru the 2nd round…sigh, this dsa thing is so stressful!
