      keinic:
Hi Augmum, thanks so much for the additional info. It's a great relief to know that there's a transport operator who's willing to cover the North area. I'll contact the school for more details. My sincere appreciation for all your help. Cheers. :celebrate:

Hi nothing2do, it's a pleasant surprise to know that your gal's in DHS and statying in the North. I'm glad that there's one more supportive parent out there who is willing to send her child to a good school despite the distance. I'm sure you must have considered other pull factors in reaching the decision. May I ask how your gal commute to and fro DHS and what is the estimated travel time? This info will be helpful as I'm trying to find the most convenient way and shortest possible time for my gal to travel there. Appreciate your advice. Thanks much.
      hi keinic
glad that all those info are of help to u when deciding the school.

one more point to note, if u are taking the schoolbus,
there will be no \"advantage\" of coming to school later on days when the school starts at 9 a.m,
as the arrival time for schoolbus is the same throughout the 5 days....... πŸ˜‰
but not to worry abt being lonely, as u 'll see many pupils arrive early in the morning....

Could you advise the start and end timings of the school days for Sec one next year?

I'm staying in Sengkang and hoping I would be able to head for DHS after my PSLE.

                Cheers and TYVM.
                hi livewith vanilla,
for sec1 next yr, i wouldn't know the timetable πŸ˜‰

but for this yr and for my gal's class, a summary of timing as follows:
MON, starts at 8 a.m, ends at ard 3 to 4
TUE, starts at 8 a.m, ends at ard 3 to 4
WED, starts at 8 a.m, ends at 1.45 p.m followed by CCA which ends at 6.30p.m
THURS starts at 9 a.m, ends at 1.45 p.m, afternoon is reserved for 3 rd lang pupils
FRI, starts at 8 a.m, ends at 1.45 p.m, followed by CCA again

though the timetable is planned for 10 days,
but more or less the same for the 1 st or 2 nd wk of the mth
