What is the clan to join St Stephen school?


My child’s BC never state the dialect group. Only states my husband and mine.

So does my child follows my husband’s dialect group? Not sure why hakka become khek on BC?

You have to be baptised as a Catholic.

Namie is right. St Stephen is a Catholic sch...to qualify for Phase 2B, the child has to be a catholic. else, you will have to join phase 2C.:D

I believe you need to show baptism certificate.

I just submitted SHHK membership in May and they had deducted the subscription amount. Does any parents know when their next meeting so that I can receive my membership early as my son will register for P1 next year ?

FYI, Tao Nan closes their PV application in March 2009(which is unexpected as other school start PV registration in June 2009 only). I had to joined SHHK as my next option to join phase 2B next year.

Same here, just submitted in May and they cleared my cheque. Will SHHK send me a notification? Anyone knows? Thanks!

Dear KS2 and mamamiya,


SHHK only has the meeting twice a year. The first one this year was held in Feb (I think) so the next one will be later part of this year (should be around Sep or Oct). After their meeting, a letter of notification will be sent to you.

However it looks looks like you will only be members for less than a year before the P1 registration. If the no. of applicants to your target school is very high then it’s going to be tricky since Iheard the only consideration point is on membership tenure.
