        Fight.

If it is fought, it should be \"My cat and dog have never fought with each other.\"

Where did you get the assessment from? Perhaps you might like to check with your child's teacher?

                1. Cost don't have past tense.

I don't know for the rest, even though I'm a p6-er. :stupid: :stupid:

                  Hi jedamum and livewith_vanilla,

                  1. 'Cost' is one of those special words which are the same in the Infinitive, Past tense and Past Participle forms.

                  2. It depends on the context. If you are referring to the information counter as a common noun, then it should be small caps throughout.

Eg. There is an information counter on the ground floor of the shopping centre.

But if you are referring to the information counter as a proper noun (special name), then the phrase should begin with caps.

Eg. Will the parents of the lost child please come to the Information Counter?

                  3. Christmas Day, like all other festivals, are proper nouns, and the word 'Day' is included in the name. Hence both words begin with caps.

                  Hope this helps. πŸ˜„

I think \"movies\" is the direct object here and \"me\" is the indirect object, and structurally it should come in the format of (subject + verb + direct object + indirect object)

That's the reason why the first sentence above sounds strange which comes in the format of (subject + verb + indirect object + direct object)

OTOH, if you make \"me\" as the direct object it sounds fine as in the following.

\"Would you like to go with her to the circus or would you like to go with me to the movies?\"

All very difficult to explain to a P2 but I suppose the sentence structure is something they pick up automatically as they read widely πŸ™‚
