Chan Brothers has come up with pick your own itineries from a list of optional tours.
If you choose to get your own air tickets & hotels, you may want to look into their 2D Beitou Hot Spring Tour (optional tour).
Alternatively, they have 2 to go F&E - 3D Taipei Hot Sping & Shopping + 1N Free. -

Understood from the Web that during late Oct the temperature will be around 20-24C, is there a great difference in the day n night? I guess a warm jacket and cardigan will do right? Any advise for ladies’ wear during that time?

I’m also looking for advise on the weather. My trip is in early Nov. I’ve just booked Royal Seasons Hotel in Taipei and will be spending a night at 清境. I wonder if the temperate will drop drastically in the mountains …

My DS will be going to 花莲 for immersion programme in Nov with the school, wonder what is the weather then? Anyone one can advise? Just want to make sure that I pack the right clothings for him

Hi,
Does anyone know if there are any theme parks which are suitable for kids in Taiwan? -
how old are your kids?
The popular ones are Leofoo village (ie suitable for teenages) and Window on China (ie lower primary or younger).

hi caroline3sg,
My kids will be 6 & 4 next year, we are planning to go for a vacation. Thinking of Taiwan. Have you been to Hongkong Ocean Park, Is Window on China comparable to that?caroline3sg:

Ocean Park has animal shows like Seaworld (GoldCoast) and rides that are suitable for teenages.
If you want something like Ocean Park, then you can visit Yeliou Ocean World.

I have never been to Window on China but based on its web, you can see that one section has miniture building and the other section mini rides (Dordaemon theme).
