Hey there.
Thanks for replying.
Think hubby & I are looking for something that’s fun yet will also teach him soccer skills.
If they’ve got a trial lesson, we may just sign up & see how it goes. -
Anyone keen?
I managed to find a soccer school which is willing to set up a new location for classes at Punggol/SK (as long as we can find a piece of land which is meant for public recreational use).
Min 5 kiddos to start a class.
Preferably kiddos of same age group (3-5yo).
They welcome older kids but due to the different activities done for different age groups, it would be better if we start off with kiddos 3-5yo first, then they might take in older kids and bring in more coaches.
If you are keen to let your 3-5yo kiddo join (most likely will be Sunday afternoon/evenings), leave a msg here
I'll PM you for contact soon

FYI,
For Pungol/Sengkang residents, you can also checkout Sporting Junior Football Academy. They've been around since 2004. The owner is Steven Chua. It's a great place for kid's casual weekend soccer. My family has a lot of great memories with SJFA.

It’s by local coaches right? The school I’m liaising with are all expat coaches (good chance to learn proper English too).
Fees are very reasonable too.
Anyway, I’m looking for kids around my boy’s age group to form a class. -
can i find out the cost per pax and schedule? what are the average kids age?

$160/10 lessons.
Looking for age 3-5 to start a group first.
If there's demand for older kids, they will bring in another coach once minimum student reached.
I'm looking at Sunday afternoon/evening. -

Run by a full time coach. My kids were there some years back. Like what the other post mention, do check what you really want out of the session.
There's not much of soccer skills to be taught for those p2 and below. The kids at that age usually run after the ball like a herd of elephants. They don't know what is cooperative play and team work. Basically, you don't need a fantastic coach. In fact, fantastic coaches won't want to teach the vey young ones, it's too boring for them.
The problem with finding a soccer school won't come until your kid is much older and quite skillful. You'll then have a hard time finding a good team for him to play with. It's not just the coach then, good coaches cannot tahan a team that's not serious, unless you're talking about a place like JSSL. Over there, you pay much and they'll say a lot of nice encouraging words to your kids. The serious soccer session are very cheap and are actually at the football clubs like SAf Warrior, Home United, etc . For the former, long waiting list so you can start queuing now.
Hope this helps. -

I have two boys in the 2-5 age group. Does anyone know of an intensive sports (not just football) program they can participate in that meets two, three times or every day of the week over the december holidays?

I like JSSL's setup but I think there are too many kids lumped together of different levels, although they try their best to ensure this doesn't happen.
I disagree a little with the \"not much to teach\" part. Actually, there's a lot of techniques for kids aged 6 and above to learn and yet have fun.
Does anyone know what happen to the 21 skills FAS promised 2 years ago to teach all the COE kids? I'm still waiting for those videos they said they will put on their website.
