My sis did it and for sometime they shine but after some time they become worse than before :!:
That is scary! How long did it last? Where did she get it done and for how much?
I thought it should last for 3 years... hmm... -

nope, some paragon dentist who also has clinics elsewhere. that dentist does whitening for $1200!toddles:
My friend apparently did braces for $7500! It's the invisible kind. I was so shocked.
Where? DNC? -
I paid $800 for teeth whitening last year. I thought the package comes with a home whitening kit. When I asked for it during payment, I was then advised that there is a little * next to the item and the * below spelled out that a home whitening kit is given after dentist finds that you need it (something like that). It was followed by a sale talk to buy this and that to maintain the whitening effect. You know lah, the things they said before and after were different. Before; it was mentioned that the home whitening kit is in the package. After that, dentist said that your teeth are okay so no home kit will be issued but you could buy this or buy the special toothpaste or cream, blah blah blah. I felt cheated that moment. If I know that I need to maintain them, I will not do it! I rather buy the whitening kit from Wastons. My teeth has lost its whitening effect after 3-6 months. I find it a total waste of money and time.

Teeth whitening damages the enamel. My dentist refused to do it for me.
He just told me to brush regularly, alternating with Colgate Whitening and Sensodyne (he says it contains something to build the enamel). -
