hi eyktay
same here, was attracted by the playground. Another +point is i find the sch spacious with individual classrooms, unlike those cc which is open concept kind.
Jus hope the teachers are caring and attentive to kids, and of cos like wat u say, prep well for pri sch. -
Hi all,
I’m staying in fernvale area(Sengkang/ Yio Chu Kang) and is looking for a good childcare centre for my gal of 2 yr 5mths. Any good recomendations? I really need some advice, thanks! -
Hi there,
Can you all please share your views on which is a good Kindergarten in Sengkang/Punggol area. I am interested only in the 2/2.5 hr strictly kindergarten curriculum and not childcare centers that provide such services?
Please share as much details as possible, such as teacher/child ratio, curriculum, play area, hygiene…
Many thanks in advance for your valuable inputs. -
hello,
anyone has any kids at Smartie Cottage at Fernvale? or heard anything about this childcare?
TIA -
Kindertots will b ceasing operation in its Fernvale Pt premise by yr end. Yet to find new premise. I was only given 10 days' notice!! Now back to searching for a N2 class.

Consider Living Sanctuary Kindergarten. Understand from ST today that they received 2 awards that makes them the best kindergarten in Singapore.
My daughter is in Rosyth now and doing very well. They deserved to win… -
I mean my daughter was from living sanctuary kindergarten from 2007-2009.
I am only very convinced that LSK did a great job when my daughter entered into Primary 1. Her form teacher in Rosyth School told me during teachers/parent session that my daughter is very creative and expressive. She exudes confidence in giving her opinion in class presentation and think out of the box during the school activities. She is street smart.
I thought LSK did a good job because creativity is a skill that is hard to teach. I think LSK managed to foster that in children from a young age. I am convinced that their pre-school years are important and not many kindergartens knows how to nurture creativity and innovation. Frankly speaking, this is something that the government realise that is missing in the Spore educational system. That’s why we get so few entrepreneurs in Singapore. Enterpreneurship requires creativity and innovativeness. Doing worksheets and assessment books does not promote that. Great job LSK. I see my children’s future bright and prospective ahead of them. -
One more plus point — school fees very cheap. I think is $600 plus for 1 term vs $600 per per mth for some kindergarten…a steal… for such an environment.
Many activities room including music room, dance room etc. Should visit the school to take a look. And everything is so clean there… -
Any recommendations for kindergarten besides PCF around fernvale road area?
