lolkthanksbye:
I do not have any objection, if a student from China/Malaysia/Indonesia etc got the highest and become the top scorer, that only means Singaporean student are not up to their standard yet but for this year if Alex Tan is the top student and he is a Singaporean, then I do not think my initial sentence is wrong cos if I remember correctly, last year top student is from Chinasinoboy:
I agree its a 'finally'. Without intervention and moderation top students would be from china and marks variance between schools would be wider. Now no need headache to choose primary school, every school everywhere in singapore is the same.

What's wrong with students from China? If they're talented and willing to go for it, I'm sure the Singaporeans can challenge them so please, don't lament and just work harder.
I see you are for conformity. Typical Singaporean, you are. -
DS got 255. I am happy with it.

If you hate IP so much, complain to MOE. You cannot expect everyone to think like you.
MATE. I don't hate IP, I hate some people within IP. Please READ. GAWD. -
well im currently in an ip school, so i can tell you that it’s good. the homework here isn’t a lot at all. very little pressure also, especially not from o levels. but as for the more time to prepare for a levels part is lying. from sec 1 to sec 4 all you do is study like what students from other school studies. no reason why you would touch a levels stuff before you go jc. uness you are ultra hardworking and ultra intelligent, that more time to prepare for a levels part is just self delusion.

They are Singaporeans as well. They study here, they probably would sink roots here, just listen to what they say. So yea, my gripe is with you people not acknowledgin that the 'foreign' scholars are singaporeans too. -
