can i appeal for RGS? (she got NYGH offer already)

You can appeal for RGS! My friend initially DSA-ed to NYGH but she appealed to RGS in the end and got it.

Why must appeal? I thought you only need to accept the DSA offer after the release of the PSLE results? If you don't accept the DSA offer, you can apply for any school of your choice under this admission exercise. Or she already accepted the DSA offer?[/quote]She had accepted the offer before the PSLE results were out.

          Mad-Eye Moody:
My son scored 256 for PSLE. He is looking forward to HCI or NJC. CoP last year is 257 and 258. Is it a good idea to try these schools? :? How much is the possibility that he will enter that school.

          Any HMT to add on?

I would say no harm trying since his T-score is not too far off. Nobody will be able to tell if the COPs will go up or down this year. It flutuates every year.

By all means go ahead and appeal. I was in the same position where my daughter was offered NYGH but I wanted to appeal to RGS but in the end didn't. Now both she and I are regretting it. Look at the end it is RJC vs Hwa Chong JC.
And RJC is top by a mile.

Both JCs have their merits. There are people in RGS who still end up transferring to HC because of their Humanities Programme.

                I have a T score of 254 (+1)

Will I have a chance to get into DHS, considering I have a GE status and that the COPs would be lower this year?
                Thanks for the help!

I was :!: when I saw my low score of 254. Fortunately, I found out that the PSLE overall T-score also was really low ๐Ÿ™

BTW: I HATE THIS YEAR'S PSLE!!!! ONLY THE CAREFUL PUPILS BENEFIT FROM THIS, NOT THE SMART ONES(like me) :x :x :x :x :x

                PS: I have EESIS.
                Got any hope? I kiasu.

                  Hi Rosemummy, 25hourmaid

We know the risk of not indicating SJI as his 1st choice. He will lose this "rightโ€™ of getting into SJI.

If my son does get into AHS/CCHS/NH/MS, we are also worried cos it they are SAP school so we are sure whether he can cope with the HMT.

                  Is SJI good???

                  Appreciate feedback please.

                  TX

There are alot of \"Black Horses\" this year...but thats the unpredictable nature of PSLE, you either make or break, no in btwn, to all those who did not achieve their dream marks, its ok, one figure does not determine your intelligence, it only determines how much you can improve ๐Ÿ™‚ everyone can improve according to their abilties ๐Ÿ™‚

There are limited schools with T-score 210 for Express class. Anybody here would like to share your advice? I really don't wish to put my child in a lousy school. Can I appeal to opt for normal class in Good school? Teacher told me I cannot as result stated \"Express\" ๐Ÿ˜ข

No comments/feedback about SJI, but you might want to consider SJI's Independent status and the soon to be implemented IP when you make your choice?
