Got any hope? I kiasu.I have a T score of 254 (+1)
Will I have a chance to get into DHS, considering I have a GE status and that the COPs would be lower this year?
Thanks for the help!
I was :!: when I saw my low score of 254. Fortunately, I found out that the PSLE overall T-score also was really low
BTW: I HATE THIS YEAR'S PSLE!!!! ONLY THE CAREFUL PUPILS BENEFIT FROM THIS, NOT THE SMART ONES(like me) :x :x :x :x :x
PS: I have EESIS. -
Hi Rosemummy, 25hourmaid
We know the risk of not indicating SJI as his 1st choice. He will lose this "rightβ of getting into SJI.
If my son does get into AHS/CCHS/NH/MS, we are also worried cos it they are SAP school so we are sure whether he can cope with the HMT.
Is SJI good???
Appreciate feedback please.

There are alot of \"Black Horses\" this year...but thats the unpredictable nature of PSLE, you either make or break, no in btwn, to all those who did not achieve their dream marks, its ok, one figure does not determine your intelligence, it only determines how much you can improve
everyone can improve according to their abilties

There are limited schools with T-score 210 for Express class. Anybody here would like to share your advice? I really don't wish to put my child in a lousy school. Can I appeal to opt for normal class in Good school? Teacher told me I cannot as result stated \"Express\"

No comments/feedback about SJI, but you might want to consider SJI's Independent status and the soon to be implemented IP when you make your choice?Hi Rosemummy, 25hourmaid

How do you like the school (NJC)?
I am current NJC student and a friend of mine was rejected by my school at first but appealed successfully with the same score last year. Nevertheless, very good luck to your daughterpecalis:
My dd scored 255+2HMT, 3A* and an A. She still wants to try for NYGH, RGS, NJC, followed by St Nics.
Seems so risky - I would happily settle for St Nics, as it will be walking distance from our home when the sch move back in 2012. But she still wants to try! But I'm thankful for her results, as she is the cool as cucumber type

Why not try RGS. After all you must consider the end point. And that is RJC vs Hwa Chong JC. And if youo look at the results for the last few years, RJC is top by a mile.
Cograts! I believed that she has a very good chance to get in!Lynn2:
Hello all,
My cousin daugher scored 263 and how is her chance getting into NYGH?
I know cop dropped, but that is a very hot school, will the cop raise instead?thanks

My sister got A* for Science and the rest all As, 242. Very happy for her
She's in the third class, after her school's (MGS) own gifted program class and the top class. The average score of her class is around 240++. If this year's PSLE was harder, I think there'd be more 250s.
She's going back to MGS. -
In NJC, boarding is a requirement.
i am also considering putting my son to NJC. But when i read abt Boarding as a requirement, i change my mind. My son is too pampered to be taking care of himself at the age of 13. -

Hi Thanks for your advise, we planned to go for Cedar Open Hse this Saturday.
Hi GreenMom, should go Cedar, my niece was there this yr Sec 1 and she enjoyed the school facilities and enviornment...25hourmaid:
My daughter's T-score is 252 and she's looking at Cedar Girls' and NanChiau High School. Do you think Nan Chiau or Cedar is good for her? She's interested in Arts/Choir as a CCA and we are staying in Hougang. Thanks for your suggestions

Hougang to Cedar is not very far. I would say go for Cedar with that score. :celebrate:
