I did a summary on my DD enrichment fee today, and got a little bit shocked...almost S$700 a month. it seems keep increasing...

      dance
      swimming
      english
      speech and drama
      arts
      piano
      ...

How about the other parents...Do you think it's a normal, or I'm too kiasu and got crazy...

Our kids are same age πŸ˜„

      Mine $400/mth, attending
      Art
      Speech
      English
      Chinese (creative writing)

Next year if time permits, may be continuing with swimming and piano. Both stopped for quite a while, no time. May be adding french. Still trying to work out her schedule. I'm trying to pursuade her to drop Orchestra in school. Twice a week practice is taking up too much time

It's not easy to find a good speech classes...

I just heard there is a grade exam set by UK Trinity Drama and Speech Examinations, just like piano, violine exam.

This enrichment center has related training for P4&P5 students. I called this center, 80% teachers are from UK. The rests are mostly from US, Austrilia, and 2 of their teachers are local.

                http://www.lornawhiston.com.sg/drama/programmes_trinity.html

I don't know whether I should enroll my DD for this center or not...time seems not enough leh...

Hubby told me if I go back to work, kids will need tuition for more subjects...on top of that, need to hire a maid as well...so I'm now maid-cum-tutor.

Hahaa.. aren't we SAHMs all multi-taskers of diff professions at home?
Maid will help out in terms of those nonsensical in out chores that never ends
so that you can concentrate on managing your family time while balancing
working full time. By not having to do chores, quality time is enhanced. πŸ˜„

The only thing we spend on is mainly DD1's violin lesson... for now. πŸ˜‰
May need to outsource for Maths with #3 coming soon, dunno have time

very independent learner... hence for her it's all DIY. πŸ˜‰ She used
to do piano but the interest was shortlived.

So current damage only : 100+ (for my pri sch gg girls) πŸ˜„
