Where/How to take photo for baby's passport?

New type can only replace with new one. So point is, try to delay making the passport until the trip is in sight.
Agree.

then lidat i sure kena have to make new one for dd2 when she's slightly older. cos dd1 and dd2 born with very very little hair (more like fuzz) so up till 3-4yo, dd1 still looked like a boy. (both look like ah pek when baby. )

Hi all,
We are having such a tough time trying to take a picture of my 3 yo boy to do his passport!
I have some pix of him looking so nicely at the camera but all not with white background so cannot use. Now he is totally uncooperative at the Kodak shop and I thought the lady would be more helpful (since she is a stranger) to try to take his pix. But after a few seconds, she just said the boy does not want to take and pass the camera to my husband ask him to take! I mean, if we are able to do it ourselves, I wouldn't have walked into the Kodak shop right? :x
Anyway, I have already booked the Bintan resort for mid-December and I told my husband and kid that if we are not able to get his passport done in time (now need at least 1 week!), then he is just not going with us. Or hubby can stay back and look after the boy and I will go for a holiday myself!
Am really short of patience in this aspect so my hubby has taken over to try to take his picture with him sitting on the white sofa facing the TV! He already got on shot that looks passable but he is going to try again to get a better one.
I repeated my threat. If I could not get my boy's passport done in time, there won't be any holiday for him!

hmm, for us, when our boys were younger, we just put them on the white nappy, take digital photo.. then touch up a little on the comp. a nice alternative to mahjong paper
