i will not recommend AMK Pr, the teacher does not reponse to your email and bad at handling children conflict. The principle is not attentive too.

How about TecK Ghee ? anyone has any comments about this school ?
thanks

i intend to transfer my son there and register my younger for 2009 P1. i heard from friend that the teacher are more responsive. I also heard from my son tuition teach that the teaching are more systematic than AMK Pr.

KCP to be more balanced in what terms? I realised KCP also double session school with P1 & 2. I check with the school today and realised that Anderson last year PSLE score was quite ok at 275. My worry is priority if I failed for St nic under 2B I should be concentrating on getting a place in a \"ok\" school that require no balloting <1km from my house. Once secure, then I worry about logistic. At least, P2 can still transfer. Am I right?[/quote]Hi Ashley, we are in the same boat. I am eyeing for St Nick under Phase 2B (1-2km) but chances are so slim now. I will be trying for Anderson. Perhaps for the better because it is just walking distance for my daughter. School bus fares are going to increase soon. While I am thinking of transfer at P2 but St Nick will be going for upgrading for 2 years in 2010-2011, so they will be placed at a holding school.
Anderson is a coed and a double session school. It is strong in sports and athletic programmes. Most people would consider Kuo Chuan Presbyterian to be the more balanced school.ChiefKiasu:

Hi,
My daughter is due for Primary 1 registeration next July and I am living in Ang Mo Kio. Ai Tong and St. Nicholas are too competitive for me because me and my husband are not their ex-students. I will prefer my daughter to go to a all-girls school. Any other good schools for recommendation?
Thank you.

Hi Chief,
Thanks for your reply. Actually, there is CHIJ-our lady of good counsel in Ang Mo Kio which is a all-girl school. But there are some negative comments in this forum about that school so I will not be sending my daughter there. In your opinion, which is the best co-ed school beside Ai Tong near Ang Mo Kio?
Thank you.
Rdgs, -
CHIJ our Lady of good counsel is not in AMK but near to Serangoon Garden.
You might wish to consider Marymount Convent which is an all girls school but then it’s not a popular school. -
Oh…sorry Chief. I thought I saw the map of CHIJ-our lady of good counsel was in Ang Mo Kio. Thanks Ashley for correcting me.
