St Andrew's Junior

snoopy:
I have the same thinking as you 1 year ago (before p1 registration)! However, due to convenience sake, I decided to enrol him in the sch. My boy will be in P2 next yr. He seems to enjoy going to sch though. He likes the trs too. Think that's the most impt part of the learning process. What you can do is to motivate him to aim high. I do a lot of \"pushing\" and guiding at home to ensure that he doesn't lag too far behind.....
Many thanks, Snoppy! Really appreciate your feedback. Good to hear of good experience of your boy at SAJS.
Totally agree w you that motivation is key and in this case parents have to \"push\" at home! -
hi,
I am hoping to send my boy to SAJS next year, I am an old boy from SA Secondary and have joined the Alumni back in 2008.
Which phase will I be under the P1 registration?
thanks. -

Heard from a SA Secondary old boy that SAJS and SA Secondary are not considered as related when it comes to P1 registration, ie. secondary alumni not qualified for phase 2a1 or 2a2. He found out when he wanted to send his boy to SAJS. You may want to directly verify w the school.hi,

Yes, he is going for 1 way home.. OMG.. he reach home at 2.45pm. What class is your boy in?
that's way too early for pick-up at Potong Pasir... and $95 sounds like robbery to me for such a short distance :!:hl_ng:
i actually moved from Sengkang to Potong Pasir. the school bus conductor told me he will fetch my son at 6.10am... oh no!! They are charging $95 for 1 trip.

did you put your son on the sch bus eventually? -

Hi parents, Any idea how many pupils from SAJ passed the GEP selection test last year?
-
Quite a number were selected for the first round of GEP. But I heard that only a handful made it through after the first round…

Thanks

to Koalamummy,
Whether to go to SASS is really up to your kid at the end of the day. He has to do well to go to better schools. My son did not want to go back to SASS, though I was sad as I had been an active PV and believe in continuing the Saints tradition.
