Ya the kids there are well taken care of. Pass by during sch end and there were principal, teachers, office staffs to ensure the kids safety. Many Thanks to them for their effort.

I did not do volunteering work and we are lucky to get in.

Previously, only more than 1km needs balloting. But starting last year’s enrolment (for P1 this year) is the first time where students within 1km needs to go for balloting. Thus I believe you may need to do volunteering work to have a better chance into the school.

            My first post here.

My son was transferred to EDP last year when he is P4. So far so good. Tried his hands in Rugby (we sort of trick him into the CCA) and I thought it helps to toughen him up a bit (he is quite the indoor sort and very lazy). This year let him get what he wants (finally) and got into ICT (his favourite!).

What I know is that the P is very active in school. Not the sit in the office type and is always walking around the school during lesson time and even during CCAs and after school activities. Very hands on type and always know what is happening. And as many of your have mentioned in this thread, he seems to have attracted quite a 'following' with many registering for EDP after hearing his reputation.

Overall I like the school and is happy that my son is in this school (previously he has to take school bus at 6.15am, at least now is walking [walkable] distance).

For the record, type of shoes and socks does not matter as long as they are black.

BTW, just to note that being a new school, they accepted just about anyone for their first P6 class and the standard of students in the class varied very much so they spent considerable efforts to 'bridge the gap' of the variety of students in the class. So I think they did pretty well.

They have 2 classes for P6 this year and next year will be my son's turn (3 classes). Shivers at the thought..haha...

Wonder how will the school cope with the number of classes (for single session) when the current P4 goes to P6, which means all level will be full capacity as I understand the classrooms are nearly all used up. Anyway, that is for the P to think about, not me. 😄

Just hope when my younger one gets in it is still and will remain single session.

Hey, my boy is in 1D too
Am quite happy with the school...really see them doing quite a bit to ease the kids into P1 - DS told me that the Principal and staff are around at recess and that the children can approach them if they need any help.

                  Hi

I have been with RC for 2 years. Will the MP approve my application for Pri 1 registration?

I believe so as the celebration is till 10am and they are off. Don't think have time for spelling test.
