My friend's dd is doing well there, so it doesn't mean that if you get in through your PSLE results you won't be able to cope. Maybe some of the NUSH parents will have a better answer to your question.

She is doing well in the school and even does better than some of her classmates that got in through DSA.[/quote]For the small no of post-psle intake, ( IMHO, pure guess guess only,) NUSHS may give preference to candidate that that have gone through their testings.

- how many COs did NUSH give out during Phase 1 of 2010 DSA exercise?
- how many on WL were subsequently given COs?

90% of the intake is chosen at phase 1 of DSA. the other 10% given out after PSLE result is released. Based on reported intake of 140 for 2011 Sec 1, that means 14 were offered to applicants after PSLE result were released

Thanks for sharing the figures. My question is whether intake means number of COs given out. If not, then how COs/WL were given out and out of which 140 accepted.

This year is exceptional small because of the smaller cohort of PSLE candidates. Heard that 2010 ast year intake was 150. 10% PSLE intake was only decided last year. Previous year has always been 15%.

[/quote]sorry to deflat your ego a bit, there are many many pupils with NSW distinctions

if you get NMOS gold, SMOPS platinum, RIPWMC 95th percentile or higher, that will be a good indication and NUSH will invite you
