        [quote=\"LaiHeng\"]got a tricky question: thanks for the help
        Adam,Ben, Can and Den had a total of 5856 stickers at first. After 1month, Adam's stickers is increased by 2/3, Ben's stickers is decreased by 3/13, Can's stickers is increased by 153 and Den lost 276 of his stickers. They then had the same number of stickers.
        a) how many stickers did Adam have at first?
        b) how many stickers did Den have at first?

        Hi there! Here's my answer for your reference.
        cheers! have a great weekend!

            Hi,

            In the 1st week of a fund raising campaign, class 6a raised 4 times as much as class 6b. In the 2nd week, 6a raised another $240 while 6b raised another $160. Given that 6a raised thrice as much as 6b within these 2 weeks, what was the total amount of money raised by the 2 classes?
            Hi

            First week;
            6a --> 4 units
            6b --> 1 unit

            2 weeks;
            6a --> 4 units + $240 = 3 parts

            6b -->1 unit + $160 = 1 part
            ------> 3 units + 480 = 3 parts

            Using a model;

            6a [ ][ ][ ][ ][--$240--]
            6b [ ][ ][ ][----$480---]

            Hence ;
            1unit --> $480 - $240 = $240
            5units --> $240 * 5 = $1200

            $1200 + $240 + $160 = $1600

                The sum of Ben’s age and his younger brother’s age is 26. The product of their ages is 144.
                What is Ben’s age in 20 years’ time?

                    What is Ben's age in 20 years' time?
                    144 = ( 2 x 2 x 2 ) x ( 2 x 3 x 3 ) = 8 x 18
                    Ben’s age now = 18
                    Ben’s younger brother’s age = 8
                    Ben’s age in 20 years’ time = 18 + 20 = 38

                      Need help again

                      1. Tom had 2 boxes, A and B, containing an equal number of white beads. He divided the white beads in BoxA into groups of 60 and to each group, he added 4 red beads before stringing them up to make necklances.

                      He divided the white beads in BoxB into groups of 90 and to each group, he added 5 blue beads before stringing them up to make necklances.
                      When he had finished, there was no more white beads in either boxes and he had used 28 more red beads than blue beads. How many red beads did he use altogther?

                      2. Jane and Shelia shared a sum of money.
                      If Jane gave 1/4 of her share to Shelia, Shelia would have $400 more than Jane
                      If Jane gave 1/5 of her share to Shelia, Shelia would have $154 more than Jane.
                      How much money did they have altogther?

                      3.A total of 350 children joined Camp A and CampB. Camp A was for girls and Camp B was for boys. THere were 2/5 as many girls as boys. More children joined in. For every 2 additional girls joined in Camp A, 1 additional boy joined CampB. Thus after the 1st day, there was an equal number of boys and girls. How many additional boys joined Camp B?
