What made you decide on the transfer eventually?

Hope your daughter likes her new school. How does she feel?

Hehe, my DD like girl's school, she is exciting in join in new school.

But she didn't want to give up her Chinese Orchestra CCA. Anyway, there are other CCA she likes in new school, like Gymnastics, tennis...have not decide yet.

IJ Kellock has been in the news frequently of late. Although I was there for just a short period, I still have fond memories of the school at its original premise.

Back then, IJ Kellock was an old school...small and dark corridors. So I jumped at the opportunity to be able to attend IJ TP which was a brand new school in 1984.
Other than the new environment, everything else was the same. The other reason is because IJ TP Secondary was just next door.

Yes, the current CHIJ Kellock is at Bukit Purmei area. I'm not sure about IJ Kellock near Great World City...May be Bukit Pumei IJ Kellock is moving from Great world area...just guess.

Yup, the original CHIJ Kellock is opp Great World City...I was there in 1983...then moved to IJ TP in 1984 but many still stayed on until after PSLE.

The building of the "then" CHIJ Kellock on Kellock Road still stands. It is now part of St Bernadette Church.

can anyone tell me where to buy Kellock PE attire outside the school? Guess it’s somewhere near Chinatown but do not know exact location. Hope you can help.

You can actually find it at Chinatown Hawker Centre. 1st floor. Its a shop opp the escalators. A bit difficult to find.
Hwr, if u r looking for size 30, they ran out of it, incl the school bookshop

Hi, My dd is P1 this year in CHIJ Kellock, I find the teacher is good, patience and strict, that is good so that my dd can learn. Any mummies, want to share your view?
