I thought phase 1 parents no need to go to school to register? I read on MOE website that only required to ask the older kid to submit the completed form to the school.

Yes, you are right. My older kid just submitted the completed form back to school for the younger one in early July under Phase 1.

Yah phase1 forms just need to be submitted via the elder sibling to the school. I have a fren eligible for phase1 in aitong just discovered that she hasnt submitted any form via her P3 son for her K2 dd! Luckily still got one day today…

Btw since 2003 birthrate is lower than 2002’s, my guess is that ppl eyeing those schools which did not reduce their intake this year (eg HPPS, MGS, NYPS, RGPS, PHPS, ACS, NHPS, KHS, TNS, ATS, CHIJ) will all have a higher chance.

          Chief,

I am following closely with your analysis (Phase 1) . Its very exciting, like a stock market.
We will be registering our DD in phase 2C, I will be hawking the K.S website to check the prediction of the different phases, from there we will decide where to register our DD.

Thks Chief you are wonderful Heheehee πŸ˜‰

              Hi Tankee,

So you had did PV in which school & trying in Phase 2B?

              yes, you are right.

30mins each morning, 2 morning per week, 10 weeks each of the 4 school terms for a total of 80 mornings over 1 year to clock that 40hrs.

I am just wonder Is PV really worth it? :?

                Hi Chief,

May I know if I would be able to know how many parents has registered in each phase during the phase itself real time or it is only updated once a day?

Reason being that I have two schools to register my daughter and if I know the preferred school do not have a 100% chance, I would like to opt for plan B.

Thanks in advance for your reply.

                Cheers, πŸ™‚

Yeah u have to call up the schools to ask. MOE website and TV text are only updated once a day after registration closed for the day.

Hi Shizta, my girl is in K2 this year (yes, will be doing P1 registration this year).

We didn't receive any letter from MOE. Instead, my girl came home from school one day with a booklet with P1 registration info.

But some schools will just tell you that registration not closed yet so they don't know the figure.
