My boy attended a birthday party last month where there is a magic show. Very entertaining - even we adults enjoyed the show not to mention the kids - my boy was literally rolling on the floor laughing   http://www.funengineerz.com.sg/profpopcorn.php

Haha, yes his package quite reasonable. I ever come across one that charges $5000 for a posh birthday party package

Anyway, I'm not sure if this guys is good with magic shows yet, but seen him doing really cute and unique balloon sculpturing at the Joo Chiat CC fun fair.

...Then of course after adding the food caterer, the bill adds up to $800 - 1000 or more depending on the number of guests, if you are hiring extra kids tables/chairs or other equipments, goodies, hylium gas tank, etc.

As this year is K2 final year for my son, so I treat this like a farewell party as well... šŸ™‚
 Call me cheap... but I'm totally impressed by how much you are willing to spend on your K2's party. There are even parents willing to spend more than $1000 based on ks2me's poll!

Last time hor, we are considered lucky if we can celebrate our 21st birthday. Invariably it involves a cake shaped like a key, ostensibly to symbolize our freedom from our parents, but more usually it marks the beginning of the end of the years of leeching off our parents and the reversal of roles when we were expected to pay \"maintenance fees\" back to our parents instead.

So what will your K2's cake symbolize? End of motherhood and beginning of parenthood? šŸ™‚

Oh no... other than the occasional disappearing act I can do when my mother-in-law comes for a visit, I'm really quite incompetent as a practitioner of magic.
