There were 57 places for 2B and 57 for 2C, so 57-51 ( places taken at 2B ) = 6. Then 2C's 57+6= 63 right? I asked, if there are 63 places and the lady said yes....Hmmmm, maybe they are tired of answering.....Last year, 45 balloted for 32 places >2km. Thats what they told me. But now, I wonder if its true :?
I think they are too tired of answering questions over the past few days šŸ˜„ When I asked about the vacancies comparison with last year, the lady just simply said about the same šŸ˜› So I don't bother to probe further. Same as you, I'm outside 2km so must pray hard šŸ™ though I know the chances is slim. If require balloting >2km, will you risk taking chance or proceed to 2nd choice?

The numbers tally. MOE's figures for last year for OLQP's 2C were 97 applicants for 84 places. So assuming 52 people were within 2km that got in, that leave 45 ppl out of 2km balloting for 32 places.

Will not take the risk if 2nd choice turns out to be more promising! Its stressful thinking about it. Where do you live and what r your other choices?

Good that the figures tally. I kept probing so I guess the lady had to answer my questions....45 for 32 places.....must have been very scary for the 45 of them. Last year there were 84 places...this year its a pathetic 63, think >2km better look at other schools. Cannot make it

Then actually the number of vancancies availabe for phrase 2c has dropped. 2008 (84) vs 2009 (57 or 63) for 2C meaning those > 2km can forget it le. Regret why I didn't call up the school earlier for PV, I called in Aug when PV already closed. :stupid:

I'm stay CCK and my next choice will be Yew Tee Primary within 1km. I'm actually prefer a convent school for my gal and this is the nearest and only hope and now by looking at the statistics, can forget it.

St Anthony in Bukit Batok is a mixed Catholic school. My niece is there and the teachers is great. But it is not easy to get in if you are not within 1km in phrase 2c

Yes, like what rainbowmom said St Anthony is a mixed school. I don't think there is any convent school around west area. Well, shall see what is the competition  next week though I know chances is super slim šŸ™
