Any idea why there were times when getting fund approved were so fast (less than 2 hrs after submitting the order). And sometimes so slow ( almost 2days still not received the approval notification) de…?

But til now, i have not get my RR number from the website. Does it means that China Post has not send out the parcel to SG? Means it is siting there for 20 days without any movement? Means my parcel will be late again???

Might not be because one of my orders had the RR numbers very quickly updated but it passed China's custom later than the order with RR numbers very much later updated. I think it depend on the staff who updates the number onto the system

Estimate to recd : after 16/5

The lead time is more than 10 weeks!

I also did not order a lot.

Usually would be less than their currecny of $200 lah.

Look like the lead time is getting longer and think have to order earlier to avoid disappointment.

It seems that it very common for orders to be delayed. My order was sent out of the outward office of exchange on March 31st 2011. This sunday its going to be 8 weeks since my order was sent of of dangdang (it was sent out 20th march). Before I saw someone said something about they change the RR number on the way. I was hoping that was the case because there are no updates since the 31st on that tracking website intmail.

I placed an order on the 10th using DBS mastercard. This is my first time ordering.


I reached the stage where i have key in the security number shown on my sms. After there is a small popup saying something like my order is not successful, for a second.

The thing is that i didn’t receive any email from DD and i checked online, there is no deduction on my credit card. The status on DD is still pending for payment.

So what do i do now? Appreciate if anyone can help me. Thanks

I think the lead time mention in DD (4 to 8 weeks) is calculated after the items left GZ. Their shipment is via surface mail, that is why it takes so long to reach singapore.

My 1st order depart from GZ on 21 March, I received it on the 13 May, which is about 8 weeks.

So far, from what I know, only the following cards are accepted:

OCBC mastercard (must be able to access phone banking)
citibank visa (have to apply the secure code)
AMEX (can be issued by any bank)

So far with AMEX, there's no need to enter secure code.

I suggest to check again on Monday to confirm that there's no transaction. DBS offers different types of AMEX, you might want to consider.

And if I order today, will it be deliver to a china city in 3 days? :?
