Chief: This sounds like great challenges ahead of me wor...I strongly agree w you that good teachers does make a difference in determing the learning curve of the child, however the dilemma for us parents in getting kids into elite school as we have the belief the teachers are \"pressure\" in producing good results students and thus the choice.

Primary school is the foundation of a child's education ahead, as parents we hope we can help into securing the first step however for secondary this will purely depends on how diligent the child is to land him into a good secondary school.

My son is very strong in his chinese and thus the thought of securing him into a SAP school, the sad thing is that I fail to get him in one. I think next week willl be another challenging week for me again šŸ™

Mine's the opposite... we had to keep patching holes in his Chinese ever since P3. My wife is pretty much full time teaching him Chinese and Chinese-only. The only good thing is that we didn't have to spend much time on his other subjects (my responsibility šŸ˜‰ actually). We learnt our lesson and have my daughter well prepared in Chinese since she was 3yo.

Good luck for your attempt for St Stephen's next week!
