you should only be concerned how many of those registered at NCPS are within 1km, only those staying within 1km are your \"competitors\".

Call the school tomorrow afternoon or pay them a visit to know the exact number registered within 1km and assess your odds. If only marginally exceeded, you still stand a high chance of getting in during ballot.

judging from the number registered & vacancies available at Anchor Green, it is likely that they will have space available for Phase 2C supplement. So it should be safe as a backup school if you failed the ballot at NCPS.

Thanks for the advise. Think I will calling NCPS later. Hope they are helpful in providing the figures, cos I think alot of parents will be anxious to find out too....Really need alot of luck in this. If strike, think happier than strike TOTO..

yeah there are a lot of foreign students these days too...Taken tht into consideration?

Don't know if more will flow to these 2 schools as now MGS is also due for balloting for <1km (update as at 11am 30 July 09)

If they are truly foreign students and not PR, then they can only register in Phase 3, where it is on a first-come-first-served basis. By then, it is of no concern to almost all the parents here who can/will register in Phases 1-2C.
