      hi honeybeel, u r back.....

yup anna, i guess so too....104 are those w/n 1km ones. so with 102 spaces, if w/n 1km is between 100-120, still quite high chance for ballot success mah.... 1 : 1.15... šŸ™

        Hi,

Just went to register at Yew Tee Primary School this morning. I quite like the staff there. They are friendly and professional. They published the breakdown of the vacancies available at the school gate.

        Buds,
I view the Yew Tee website, they only published the vancancies as of yesterday @ 4.30pm. Where can I locate the latest news?
What i posted up here was gathered from their Home Page.
I just click under 2009 P1 Registration (Update Of School Vacancies).
Whatever the rest has seems to be the same as the MOE website.

Yes, i got the best reception from Yew Tee during my P1 registration
experience. And less busy as compared to the rest, whose phone lines
can be engaged for quite some time before i cud get through.

DLS update - tat awful lady spoke to me just - but today she wasn't so rude but i din quite understood her ..... she said '104 w/n 1km as of today'..... wasn't y'day's closing at 104 too ??? :?

before i cld shoot to clarify, she shut me up & left me puzzled..... :?

so whole morning today no applicants????? someone can update me????? :? :? :? or anyone else can call to check check???
104 at MOE website yesterday is inclusive >1km.
This morning around 9 am become 98 (within 1 km)
Then the total number for this morning is 104 (within 1 km)

I think now they don't want to take in those > 1km.

The good news is the rate is increasing slowly & the no. is not so frightening. I will be happy if the applicants are 134 as at last year.

anna, let's give ourselves some hope..... after all, there is still SV to contend with DLS for \"popular\" schools.... also the other upcoming hot schools r also becoming popular..... šŸ™

Yes, today no crowd at all. This morning also went to Unity as my hubby also prefer Unity. Was told that already 90 applicant who is <1km to compete for 67 vacancy, then very firm to register at Yew Tee. Although Yew Tee will go into balloting, but think not so bad....hope for the best...
I will definitely attend the balloting session. 😢

I wonder if out of ballot, can put waiting list immediately, in case some parents withdraw before school term starts next year?
Any parent has experience? I am super..super...kiasu now.
