[Choa Chu Kang] Primary Schools
-
i doubt 'switching' will happen....more like one of the mommies
who mentioned YT is up & coming 'hot' school plus also unity
reduced intake tat's why YT is so happening.
the real bang will come in the afternoon & i will know when i check
out the school later....dun think many parents will be so gungho to
wait till 4.00-4.30 to register......
i predict till the end of today = all 3 schools same same chance it terms
of balloting probability. :faint: -
Anna Ng:
wow!! so difficult to predict. The second half will be more ken cheong.
Latest news:honeybeel:
i was also busy checking some figures when i realised now registration's over for morning session!!! ok, gonna start calling later n kaypoh again...
as usual, will post once i hv the results....
i will b going straight to school after lunch with hubby..... no point wait till 4.00-4.30pm la....its not going to change much fact.....
w/n 1km
YT 139
DLS 119
How about Unity?
The odds for the two schools are DLS - 85.7% & YT - 84.1%. Predict both will slide down to 78% but think DLS will be the winner with better odds. -
....think DLS will be the winner with better odds.
i also think so..... then we all leave it to fate

Anna Ng:
My husband is contemplating to switch to DLS. Hope he will tell me before he really action on it.As at above figures.
YT = 22 will out via balloting
DLS = 17 will out via balloting
Unity = 30 will out via balloting
It is hard to choose between YT & DLS. Hopefully, not much \"switching\" between these 2 schools.
Actually as what your husband said it is not a bad idea to be in the \"International School\". I just called to confirmed to make sure that the international school is within 1km, since the out of ballot rate is increasing. Help...very stress out :?: . Cannot concentrate...imagine we have to wait for another 11 days....How to stay
-
ok, good luck to all..... i'm leaving now to do my part
as a parent.... bye!
-
:? :? where is tri-mum har?

That's why i say go for a short trip on 8 Aug, got 3 days break leh!
My husband said this year is a good year to travel (ignore all the H1N1) as next year when the kid goes to P1, then we can only go off during school holiday and by that time, hotels & airfare will not as cheap as the non peak season -
Anna Ng:
Hi Anna, Everydays see u all soooo 'kan cheong' so dare not to interrupt ler
Dear Needy:Needy:
Hi Anna, I follow this thread vy closely... I think u & ur hubby both are vy funny    I like it ...
Good luck to you & everyone who register under P2C :xedfingers:
:lovesite:
I saw fr other thread that u already secure a seat in SV, so admire u, no need to go through this torturing stage. BTW, u register in P1 or P2, u went thro balloting? can share some balloting experience? i must prepare myself for it
. . Now I think the line temporary stop then here I come lor....
I am under P2A so did not go through the balloting and dun know who is the 'lucky' one also. So sad hor...
Talk about the size of KPS that you mentioned juz now, I think KPS is really quite big. The teachers there are quite friendly also. I like the toilet paintings
and the small fish pond is very nice (Juz a very small one hor)
. I think other schools also have these but most of the schools last minutes cancell their open house so I have no chance to go for comparison lor...
Thats what I see about the 'surface' of KPS lar...
One of the teacher told me P1 & P2 students are not required to wear school uniforms. They can juz wear PE T-shirt which category into red, blue, yellow & green.
Any KPS parents here ? If I mis-info, pls correct me hor....

BTW, why the 'line' stop for so long har... no latest news meh ???? :?
