Just came back from RVPS, the applications are as follows,

      Vacancies - 88 + 4 (withdraw from earlier phase) = 92
      <1km - 37
      1-2km - 59

      Balloting for 1-2km at 55/59

Glad that you had settle already.

Same here, just plain 😎 that it's all over.
If not got to worry until 2c supplementary again.
Haven't been sleeping well for 2 nights liao.

:congrats: TO ALL PARENTS WHO REGISTERED SUCCESSFULLY IN THEIR SCHOOL OF CHOICE!
(which includes me too, cos it's my 2nd choice. YAY!)

            Winth,

Must really salute you withdraw RVPS at 1600hr & head to NTPS? Did you actually drive past GESPS & then pull emergency brake in the end U-turn head to NTPS?

Really like my case where I suddendly want go register RVPS where infact earlier I had decided to on RMPS. This year P1 2009 registration totally different from last year, MOE reduced 1 class intake which make balloting history totally change.

Eg RMPS = Ballot at 1Km (Used to 1-2 km ballot)
RVPS - Ballot at 1-2Km (Used to more than 2km ballot)

Those who had got in the choice of school (confirmed) can relax & look forward National Day, :celebrate:

Those have to ballot wish them have all the luck. Let pray for them 🙏

Those going to comepte in Phase 2C Supplementary, try work harder. This is final chance if not Phase 3 is 1st come 1st serve.
            :!:

Came back from ZD about 30 mins ago. Yippee… I got myself a place. It was the most nerve-wrecking moments. Hubby dropped me off at about 3.45pm while he went to GES to withdraw our application. While at ZD, the teachers refused to let me even fill in the forms while hubby was in the process of withdrawing. Waited till hubby called to confirm withdrawal at about 4.15pm then I was allowed to fill in the forms. After that I waited for them to close the registration and do a final summary, then I was told that I’m safe and I got a place at 4.45pm. That moment was like a big big stone off my chest. OMG… I can finally sleep peacefully tonight.

I think the latest when I left the school is about 109 within 1km. Must ballot for those between 1 and 2km.

According to my time in my car, I reached outside RV at 1608, got into car at 1615, reached NT at 1625. Was driving at 80-90km/h, heng no TP following.

No lar, GES was out when I chose to withdraw at RVPS liao. Was actually hoping to squeeze in the balloting phase when there was still 1 vacancy left for >2km, got sms from school that balloting only for 1-2km. So decided to make a dash for it and end my nightmare.

Wow... Almost felt like how I felt just now. Was sweating while I was driving there too. Except that I'm on one-man-show.

Hi, having read the threads here made me as ‘gan jiong’ though I’ve already passed the stage - My eldest DS went thru’ balloting 1-2km in RVPS in 2006. I’m surprised this year (non-dragon year) there’s balloting for those 1-2km, but this afternoon, while in RV fetching my kids, overheard some parents mentioned that this year, RVPS cut down on the intake number (From 270 previously to 240)! This means that 8 P1 classes instead of 9 (assuming 30 students in a class). Congrats to all who have found their schools and got their precious registered.

P/S: Winth, I’m happy to read that you’ve got your kid to NTPS in the end. At least, you’ve the peace of mind now and much more convenient in terms of logistics arrangement. Congrats!
