i feel those staying > 2 km no need to register so fast.
look at how many vacancies got filled up in < 1 km, and between 1 to 2 km first, then decide.

unfortunately, these are typically those with methodist church associations…they actually have no where else to register. They are probably 2km away from every other methodist school e.g. fairfield, plmgs, geylang etc.

yup - garden vista, sherwood towers, king albert park, sterling, blossomvale etc and some more coming up...Jardin, Floridian etc

Registered for HPPS this morning. I am staying >2KM. I prefer NHPS more for much nearer to home but the opptunity is so slim...

If you stay within 1km for NHPS, you stand a very good chance compared to more than 2km for HPPS.

Cos all places will go to <1km then 1-2km then >2km so if there are 50 pple applying and 28 stay at 1km or less then these 28 will be confirmed without balloting and the rest automatically out!

for MGS, just wonder for those staying more than 2km, why did they register this morning? very likely the school will get them to withdraw their application by tommorrow morning....

Yes, overheard the staff advicing a mother that the chances are slim as she was outside 2km.

Bukit Timah primary (BTPS) should be a good school, since it's absorbing all the overflow cases of P2B and P2C from other good schools.


is there an open house coming for BTPS ? would be great for parents to go down, explore & take a look, talk to P and teachers ?

parents with kids currently studying in BTPS - can feedback what are some of the strengths of BTPS, or anything unique or unusual about this school ?

BTPS is having OPEN house this Sat morning, which they called it FUN DAY 2011. See details in their website.
