      KSoh:
Can anyone comment on YMCA in Bishan and Little Campus? Anyone tried them? Are they able to help prepare the kids for Primary 1?

My two kids attended Metropolitan YMCA in Bishan years ago. It was very good then and my kids were well prepared for Primary 1. My girl get 1st in her class in P1 and my son was also in the top 10 position. I hope YMCA still maintain the same good standards after all these years.

my son currently in K2 at My Little Campus in bishan. Full day care. they have chinese lessons, speech and drama, and outdoor activities (flyer trip, children kampung, and the regular library trips)he seems ok as he is eager to go to school. Im not sure which school he’ll end up for P1, hoping for CH, phase 2b as we are catholics and within 1km.

just moved to AMK area & im looking for a nearby good kindergarten for my younger girl in K1 next year. Any recommendations?

am thinking of Ang Mo Kio Methodist Church Kindergarten or Bethesda AMK Kindergarten. Welcome anyone with useful info or feedback on these 2 schools.. :please:

                Hi DotingMum,

My K2 son is currently in Bethesda and dd graduated from there too.
Basically to us, Bethesda has helped them in academically. Most importantly, teachers are responsive and principal is \"on\" too.

Children will be exposed to stage performances as there will be twice performances for each year, namely Easter Day and Graduation Ceremony.

You can also refer to the web for further details.

Great to hear fm u & thnks for the info! am beginning to make some headway now. my girl luv performances so this is gd news too !

I understand fm the kindy dat each class there r 24 students to a teacher. sounds pretty handful for a teacher u think ? πŸ˜“ cos my girl's current kindy has 1 teacher + assistant to 24 students.

To hv 2 mummies complimenting the principal & teachers...dats reassuring!

Me trying to avoid making same mistake as b4 when i registered my elder girl in 2 previous kindy with high turnover of teachers. Every couple of mths we were greeted by a new teacher..blurr :faint:

                        Hi DotingMum,

From my past experiences, there will be an assistance helping out for Nursery and K1 classes. As for K2, the class will be fully taken care by the subject teacher.
