Tri-mum:
Yes, I did....here it is. :celebrate: so next year, I'll be the first to report work liao.....my boss shld nominate me for Best Employee of the year
Fortunately, the school starts lesson at 8am and assembly at 7.40am so we plan to drive her to school at 7am before we goes to work (both of us work in central) so it is on the way. Anyway, we shall see the school bus arrangement as well. I've checked with their school bus operator and they told me they cater a direct bus from CCK to the school and currently there are about 8-9 students fm CCK and pick up is around 6.20am from my block but shall see what is the route arrangement next year and then decide we will drive her or she can take school bus.baby2momma:
:congrats: tri-mum.....
so now ur dd is successful in St Marge, how u going to handle the distance? will u think of shifting??
Yes, we thought of shifting to central area eventually since her Sec school is at Farrer Road (will be convenient next time when she travel to school) since no school bus will be provided for most Sec school lor.
Anna, St Mar Primary is at Wilkie Road near to Dhoby Ghuat. -

It is true that they didn't give a \"LIVE\" update but when I called about 2.30pm before I went down, the admin told me the actual statistics as at 11.30am and mentioned from the numbers 50% are >2km and that's why we went there. However, when it is our turn to register, the chinese admin who handles our registration did tell us there are roughly how many places left but registration is still going on so she can't give us an exact breakdown. I would think this is fair because if she gives wrong information and later surely \"hump thumb\" by other parents. Unlike CCK schools who can easily accounted for because they only accept applicants within 1km. So we took the risk coz we felt the no of balloting out will be much lesser than CCK schools. We waited there together with other parent for the final results. -

In fact, she is very confident that God will bless her and she will surely in even before the BIG day but her mummy is just very kan chong and worry lor. Anyway, this is just the beginning and our next phrase is whether our child is able to cope with Primary school education system.thanks tri-mum for yr effort in re-eplaining to me again...
