Actually,if I am not wrong, the q number starts from day 1. There are 73 vacancies so since i took no 73 that means the vacancies are now all filled. I asked the girl who attended to me but she knows NOTHING about this whole process! I guess this means there is balloting BUT for which group of applicants we will not know till end of the day. I am outside 2km so am very nervous! Any parents registering later in the afternoon, do give us the stats if possible ok?

it depend on the vacancy. if there is no over subscribe those within 1-2 km & >2km will have a chance to ballot. those <1Km will auto get it.

Your still ok. For me, all 3 school within 1km all over subscribe, all have to ballot. those more than 1km total no chance.

Today’s Straits Times Home Pages B1-2: So many schools including those non traditional popular schools are over-subscribed in Phase 2C.

All 3 schools within 1 km my vicinity are over-subscribed too.

MOE really needs to look into this trend and overhaul their current system. This is really nerve-wrecking and heart-wrenching phase in life parents have to go through.

Are you one of those who would still persevere and go through the balloting next week or are you pulling out today and go with your second choice?

So looks like co-ed school will become more popular for parents having more than one child. First, they don't have to go through the same agony when the second child goes P1 and secondly, the grandchildren, regardless of gender, can register via P2A. πŸ˜‰

Makes me wonder, if this year is normal?

So many neighborhood schools and even a new school (frontier Pri), need balloting within 1km... :yikes:

My heart goes out to all who are going through this phase. Having gone through 1 round of balloting at Phase 2B, I already found it stressful. But the stakes are even higher at this phase. All the best to all who have decided bravely to weather this storm, despite the odds!

i js called Jiemin Pri - with only 88 vacancies, already over 90 registered for those living within 1km... so balloting is a must liao.. πŸ˜“

js imagine... say 95 applicants sitting uneasily in their seats, hoping & praying that their child's name will be picked & called next... nerve wrecking... if u hv a heart beat machine with u... the machine donch know will miss hw many heartbeats... :gloomy:

the admin lady nvr give me the exact number though.
