.... I think for those Singaporeans who 'bo-chup' and never apply under any of the earlier phases will have to go thru' Phase 3 too.
For those (S'poreans & PRs) who did not apply under the ealier phases, MOE will also contact them and provide them with 3 schools to choose from. -
Hi all.
Any idea for those successful applicants under Phase 2C Supp, will we receive letter or some kind of confirmation that our child has secured a place?
Thanks. -

Wow, that's 'welfare'. So Singaporeans cannot complain that MOE never take care of them or rather, their children schooling needsaaadaddy:

Yes, we should receive the letter from the school. Got mine under Phase 2A2 previously and now waiting for the one from Anchor Green.Hi all.

JSC,
That's very ambitious of the Anchor Green principal to do that. I went for a tour couple months ago and I liked it. But I met with some parents of AG students, and they only said the school was so-so. And I met someone who lived just next to Anchor Green who actually put her kid in North Vista.
Really, if my kid didn't get into Nan Chiau, I'd rather put her in maybe Sengkang Primary or North Vista. -

Thanks. Think the Ballot for those staying more than 2km will be held on 19th Aug. So, we should expect to receive the letter today?

Actually I'm glad the Anchor Green principal has that ambition as my gal has been successful in getting a place at Anchor Green (under 2C supp)! :celebrate:JSC,

I would be quite sianz if the principal does not have that kind of driven motivation to push it's teaching staff & students to excel. Then I would have to worry about my gal's PSLE results in 6 years time....:xedfingers: -

No need to compete with foreigners ... -
empresskelkel,
Congrats on getting a place at Nanchiau.
i oso quite like North Vista and its one of my 4 shortlisted schools. Reason for shortlisting Nan Chiau and Compassvale is obvious & i m wthn 1km and reason for shortlisting Anchor Green and North Vista is i got to see the campus and did not hear negative things about these 2 schools, compared to the remaining other 3 schools in SK(exclude Rivervale as need balloting & i m 1-2km).
Only on the 3rd day of phase 2C about 4pm i was like mental block dunno to choose North Vista or Anchor Green after deciding to change my strategy to not risk balloting Nan Chiau or Compassvale. I was at North Vista filled up form but the last decision was Anchor Green being 1km should be nearer than North Vista 1-2km and also cant bear to forgo Anchor Green principal so i registered Anchor Green instead.
After cooling down, i felt tt logistics wise North Vista is in fact better bcos i stay near Seng Kang MRT so to go NV is one MRT away but to go Anchor Green is by bus, LRT or walk which actually takes more time. And NV reporting at 8am is oso good.
Think its fated. Comments such as so-so is better than negative ones.
