      Hi kiasu_pig

How do u find Learning Ladder and GLoryLand learning? Do you like their curriculum.
I have registered my girl in caterpillar coves… it is very pricey but because of her character and learning abilities, I want to try it out at Cat Cove and see how it turns out.
As for my son who is 28mth, I am considering to put him in GloryLand less pricey.
I would like to hear from your comment if any on your thoughts abt these 2 center. You can pm me. Tks alot

My girl just started her 3rd term on June 15... and I cannot comment much on academic cos everything to me is still fresh and new... however, I can see that my girl really enjoy school and she look forward to going to C.C every day. In term of food and environment, you can be rest assured. During my 3 days trial with CC, I notice that the kids seems to have confidence as compared to mine child and they behave well and proper. you need to make appointment to view the center.

I am considering Carpe Diem Young Minds @ Tampines St 24. Full day child care for my 2yo for 2010.

Anyone has any experience with this?

My kid is still with CD(JJK), though I am getting impatient and ignored with them lately [haiz]. I have visited \"Gloryland\" & \"Learning Ladder\" earlier - the latter is pricey though [> $1K]. But I'll do some serious \"looking around\" once we have settled down.

              😉
The house next to CD/JJK has been vacanted for a long time, and is the only one vacant (lot) throughout the estate.... Hmm...

                Hi,

Does anyone have any comments on Carpe Diem @ Punggol?

I've tried calling the CC several times and they always tell me that they are full and on long waiting list...

Is it really so good? I have yet to visit the centre...

                Pls comment...

                Thanks :?

                    Hi..

I'm considering Carpe Diem at Punggol...

Does anyone has any comments on the CC?

I was reading thru the forum and realise that CD does not phonics?

THe centre told me the sch fees $39X after subsidy. Does it means that any additional items liek art & craft are chargeable???

I have not personally visit the CC yet.

                    Please advise :?

hi, i was told that the CD (Punggol) is operated by the same management of CD(JJK). Ok, as of now, CD(JJK) doesn't have phonics, but will be introducing later once their treachers have completed their training now (as told by their principal). CD(JJK) has a different enrichment class every afternoon from Mon to Fri which are chargeable - for example Kindermusik's on Mon.

Basically, we are very disappointed with Carpe Diem programs. They do not incorporate any 5 "MI" teaching as mentioned in their website/student booklet. The quality and standard of the teachers are very low. They have big classes and the teachers spend lots of time to settle down the kids and hence do not have time to teach them and hence heavily depend on enrichment teachers to teach the kids. Too bad for those who cannot afford the enrichment classes. All the exercise worksheets are no different from what you can buy from outside bookshop. They seldom have art and craft (maybe one art and craft in a month).
