Tingkat Dinner

Hi All, I am still in a dilemma. Natureveg no longer around? If compared to Yuan Xin and Redleaf, which menu would be better because I prefer one with more real stuff than those fake/mock meat stuff. TIA.

I am with CWST since May11..but will not continue with them next week when the cycle ends. Food is generally okay, not oily n salty and generous portion (we ordered for 4 dishes 3 pax for 2A and 2C). Veg dish is quite boring whereas meat dish is okay. We do not like the seafood dishes (prawn)..prawn not so fresh. Delivery time is early (330pm)..so I have to reheat the food again.[/quote]Thanksjerejoy:

MIL took care of newborn #2 and we found she had been having her breakfast for lunch as she had no time to cook. So we tried Jessie Catering - lunch for 1 pax. Cost was $6 per meal on average.
Foodwise nothing to shout about. so-so i would say. But the boss/employees are friendly and accomodating. I recall we just started the next cycle and had to cancel the service. The boss/employee was nice and allowed me to pay for the single-dayβs meal at a cost of $10 instead of completing the whole cycle. The delivery guy made a trip to collect the empty tingkat container so I guess thatβs why they charged the additional $4. -
We were looking to \"outsource\" our dinner for this year, as both kids are having PSLE and O levels.
I found a few older post through Kiasu parents forum that recommended tingkat services in Singapore. I have tried out one of the recommended ones :?: and would like to share with others my recommendations/experience :lovesite: .

Mom's cooking is a little ex compared to others, but the quality of food is much better. The tasty is also very much better than the normal. The food comes in paper container, which is environmental friendlier and less toxic  compared to straroform boxes. Other tingkat services requires you to wash and clean the tingkat as well.
Average about $29 per meal for four people, sounds a bit high but if you add up the time you saved on cooking, preparation, grocery shopping, gas, cleaning, its quite a good deal.
I would recommend Mom cooking and order one less pax, as the serving is quite big. We ordered 3pax for 2 adults and 2 kids.
PM me if you need other information. -
Any feedback for MeiHao?

Hey ask you guys ah, do you mind if tingkats are not labeled with the food ready-to-eat-time? NEA require all packed meals and buffet to label with the time the food is cooked, and advice consumers to eat the food in 4 hours.
