Hi janice_0950... you are a little incoherent due to your panic... in reality, for most parents, with a little bit of preparation and a lot of luck, most parents usually breeze through P1 registration. You don't need to go for a branded school, and you probably have your or your husband's ex-school to fall back on if you want a hassle-free registration.Hey all parents here,
I am new here in this thread.........
How u parents its ok?.........Announce Result for Phase 2C....... @v@
how.........you all parents?
I am anixous....+ panic...too :? As my boy coming next year 2010.
Oh my god...........
If you want to go for branded schools like St. Hilda's, you must know that the odds are heavily against you. What we hope is that KiasuParents.com can educate parents well enough to understand what they are up against, so that they can set more realistic and achievable goals for themselves and their children. That's the reason why we painstakingly provide statistics throughout the entire exercise so that parents can go into the process with their eyes wide open, and to consider contigency plans should the original plan not work out. -
Dear Okahill, i guess alot of people are disapointed with the balloting results. I am also one of the unlucky ones. In fact, i witness the first 20 draws up there, I witness two of my friends’ daughters’ name being balloted. This is really luck. So envy. to ensure fairness, i keep telling the one who is drawing to keep stiring the draw cares as i seen alot of them stick together. Anyway, don’t be discouraged. Life’s goes on. I probably try Tampines Primary School. Most important is we are there to support and guide our child when they are in primary one. GOOD LUCK!

Hi all
Just wanted to share that we are one of the lucky ones to get into St Hilda’s!!! The 32nd or 33rd place. I had a meeting this morning and hence couldn’t be present to witness the balloting. I can’t help but jump for joy when I saw the sms from hubby. My colleagues celebrated that joyous moment with me!!
I had informed my husband to sign up with Tampines Primary had we been unsuccessful…now I can finally relax… -

Hi all, just checking if any parents here have kids studying in Chongzheng Pr sch at tampines?
I am considering putting my kids there cos it's very near my home.
I know it's a popular neighbourhood sch but not sure why is it more popular than the rest. Also not sure if it's a ok school in terms of academic & teachers' commitment. I am quite concern cos heard in most neighbourhood schools, teachers spent most of the time dealing with discipline and kids there are less motivated. Is it true? :?:
Would appreciate if you could share your experience & view. Thks! -
