      Yeah mah... Use the grainy salt (prefer coarse salt for this purpose) then gently give the fruit that I am going to consume a good \"body\" scrub πŸ˜‰

          I remember reading this a loooong time ago but dunno if true or not: Very young children have difficulty with the grapeskin, something about them being unable to cut it into smaller pieces with their (lack of) teeth, I think. This may cause them to choke on the skin. So I always removed the skin for my DD until she had substantial teeth.

              organic ones are very expensive leh...and hard to find. hmm, sometmes give dry ones, but think he likes juicy ones.hee. πŸ˜›

              I saw a programme b4, someone uses toothpaste to clean, put a little toothpaste and shake vigoriously, after that, rinse and the grapes will be shiny! :lol:

                Same logic eh? Oil-based pesticides that come off with the \"binder\" - flour or toothpaste! πŸ˜‰ I'll try it myself. Thanks for the pointers!

                      I pluck all the grapes from the stem and wash them vigourously, rinsing 5 to 6 times with plenty of water. That should get rid of most of the pesticide. Btw, among all imported fruits, grapes has one of the highest pesticide level found on the skin.

                        Sink the whole bunch into a bowl of water with a few drops of vegetable wash added. Then rinse 2 times.
