Thanks glendt, i fully agree with your comments.
anyway, we have decided to let them continue until end of the year before we make a decision.
Good to try out first. Once you kids get older, they also will be more hard-pressed for time. In the meantime enjoy both classes.

I am interested in Pre Pri classes. But sunday evening a bit hard for me as I would be at my in-laws house for dinner.Hi parents,
Anyone knows if TAS is starting a Pri 3 new class? I would like my ds to join a new class so he can start afresh. I am also interested in their pri prepatory class. I heard they have a class on tuesday. I am looking for weekend classes. Anyone wants to start a new Pri 3 or pri prepatory class with me? I heard they need 4 to start. -
Hi,
Anyone has referral for me for TAS? My kid liked their class and thankfully I managed to squeeze in my kid to get the last slot. Anyone knows when the borrowing of books will start for them? I saw some kids in his class carrying storybooks. -

The borrowing of story books has started during the class timing. -
So that means they get to borrow a book in the lesson? How long can they borrow it for? My ds reads quite slowly.

I think it is one book in 2 weeks. After your child finishes, the teacher will ask your child questions to make sure he reads the book. For older kids in upper pri, I think it is 1 book in 3 weeks. You may be able to ask the teacher for extension if your son cannot finish the book. Do you have your referral yet? I cannot give anymore as we can give one referral per term and I have given mine already but I can ask around.

They will loan the book for 2 wks. Thereafter they will have short discussion/sharing abt the storybk. :grphug: -
Now my kids are older, I have stripped down their classes to the bare necessities. They have so much school work as it is. But TAS classes are a must for them. Although I am a teacher, I cannot teach my own kids, I will go crazy and pull out my hair. So I am thankful they enjoy TAS classes and are learning.
But I really hope to stop all classes for them once they are in secondary school. I think by then they should be independent learners, hopefully.
Any parents here have 'suffered' once you stop tuition for your kids in secondary school? -
Monster Mummy:
