Through recommendation, I just confirm with a pte teacher to come to my place to teach my DD2 who has zero knowledge about piano 😉

Charge: $130 for 4 lessons and each lesson is 45 minutes. Fee excluding material which she sms said is $18.

Hi I am paying $140 per month to travel to piano teacher's hm and she is following yamaha holiday schedule so there may be 3 lessons in a mth but still pay the same for the 45 mins. Is this reasonable?

        Is she a Yamaha teacher?
I know of a current Yamaha teacher w the same schedule & charging this amt for Grade 1.

        Hi there,

I am looking for a yamaha teacher, do you think you can recommend her to me? My child has attended JMC at yamaha for 2 years and I would like her to try out on individual basis. Her charges are $140 is considered ok cos if you go to yamaha individual it is at $145.

My dd is currently doing JXC1, just started her on home-based private piano lesson with a current Yamaha teacher, $180 per month, 45mins, follows Yamaha calendar....are you looking for home-based lesson?

Wonder why Yamaha teachers charge higher than market rate?

If he/she has the experience, qualification, a Yamaha teacher (or any teacher) can command this rate. Furthermore the teacher is traveling to the student’s premises.
