Ya, the old building is not even fully demolished for new construction... And it is only 9mths away...

I see. Anybody got any feedback from school personnel whether the school will move back to old premises by 2013?

Is there only 1 bus operator for school?

no news from the school on when it will move back.
there is one official bus operator, but many private ones. the buses from the former could park in the school carpark, while kids taking the private ones have to walk out of the gate to the carpark where the buses wait for them.

My DS1 will be in Primary class 5 next year. Anyone else?

        Hi,

My son will be in Class 1-5 next year. Do we need to pre-order the textbooks or buy it directly from the bookshop in the school?

Can anyone share their experience with KHS CCAs? Was told most are once a week on Mondays. Which are the good ones and which are not popular? My dd going to be P3 next year.

Are they schoolbuses to bring them home after CCAs?

                Hi,
My DD is in Class 1-2 next year. I bought on Wednesday. I just get it (those non optional items) as I do not want to wait till orientation day. It may be too crowded.
Just wonder who had gotten the $45 school bag from KHS bookshop? Is it good?

I bought for my DD last year (P1). The condition of the bag is not good now. Will get her a new bag soon. Now planned to get a SPI bag since a lot of parents here recommended it. πŸ˜‚

Usually there is promotion during the school holiday. Look out for the advertisement on ST newspaper. πŸ™‚

It really depends on how many CCAs your dd wants and has the time to take part. The school encourages students to sign up for at least One CCA. For girls in my ds class, Uniform group, Brownies, is popular, which is on Mondays, together with the Boys Scouts which belongs to the \"same family group\" so to speak. Most of the CCAs are on Mondays and Fridays from what I know.

There will be a CCAs Open House which I highly recommend all parents to visit & find out more before making any decisions. There is also a talk at this event as well as Q&A session with the CCAs teachers-in-charge, to answer queries from parents. The small room will be packed, so if you want a seat, please arrive early. You can visit the different booths after the talk.
