TAS classes I think can stretch to 18, asst teachers are put in if the class size exceed a certain number (sorry can't recall).

I'm not sure about the others, but am sure my DS1's teacher is an undergrad. Am fine with her becos he loves her to bits and enjoys her lessons - can hear him from outside participating in her classes.

My personal feel - just becos one has degree doesn't mean that person can teach. Even ex-teachers also I may have reservation (during my study career, I have encountered teachers who were simply ineffective). In fact when I first approached TAS and they offered that their teachers were grads, I couldn't have cared less. It's only after attending the trial class that I decided to go with them.

Sorry no clue about LP. Best to go down and have a look at the facility, teaching staff, materials and if you are people oriented enough, go ask parents who are waiting for their kids. I dropped a centre becos one parent was going there in a huff to drop class. 😛

              Hi hh2,

Are you still looking for the creative writing book by TAS? I was just at Popular at Toa Payoh and saw the book. If I remember correctly, it is $15 if you have a
Popular card, it is $13.50, cheaper than the price TAS was selling non TAS parents previously.

Oh good news, my friends have been wanting to buy but TAS limits the books they sell to us so I also cannot help buy for them…

Do all the branches carry the book?

can someone post a picture of the book?
it will be easier for interested parties (but who do not have the time to go Popular to look for the book) to email popular bookstore to see if their nearest outlet carries the book.
                  thank you.

                        Some info on book-

I called TAS to ask them which branches at Popular are carrying their book. They told
me 15 of the bigger outlets carry them. They said the books were delivered late last week to some branches so not all of the 15 have their books yet. But these are
the branches that have received their books:

                        1) Clementi
                        2) United Square
                        3) North Point
                        4) Causeway Point
                        5) Toa Payoh
                        6) Nex
                        7) Bishan

Hope this helps. I am not too sure how to load the picture of the book up.
